I have worked with Timeless Sash Windows on a number of projects at various stages ranging from initial survey reports, fabrication and finishing on site. One particular project involved the extensive refurbishment of existing historic windows, in various states of disrepair, and the integration of modern contemporary elements which demanded a rigorous attention to detail. In short they are a pleasure to deal with. Their depth of knowledge and experience is astonishing and is equalled by their standard of workmanship and professionalism. They are team players who are always willing to problem solve and be flexible, which are essential attributes when working with historic protected structures. They would always be on our tender list and I would have no hesitation recommending them to any client.

Our Architectural Practice has worked closely with Timeless Sash Windows for the past six years. During this time, we have undertaken small scale and very large scale sash window replacement projects – two of these projects alone exceeded orders in excess of 120 No. very large sliding sash windows. We are most satisfied with the standard of bespoke joinery provided, coupled with the excellent installation procedures undertaken. On all occasions Timeless Sash Windows worked closely with us as Architects and facilitated the Client in every respect in phasing the window installation works to ensure the client could operate each building in a live environment with minimum disruption. All installation procedures were undertaken in a clean, efficient and safe manner. We will continue to use Timeless Sash Windows on the projects we undertake nationally on Protected Structures.

We have worked successfully with Timeless Sash Windows on several projects including Ashford Castle, Co. Mayo and Ormiston House in Belfast. At Ashford, Timeless made and fitted replacement all timber windows. They produced high quality timber windows to match original historic detail within a very restricted timescale to meet our client’s (Red Carnation Hotels) programme to ensure the hotel was back in service on the agreed date. All workmanship was high quality and monitored and approved by Consarc Conservation. Timeless Sash Windows worked very closely and co-operatively with us and we have never had any disputes regarding quality of work or programme. At Ormiston House the Callaghans team carefully removed, refurbished (including paint stripping, splice repairs, re-putty original glass) and re-fitted all original windows and ensured that all sliding sashes were fully operational. On both projects, we found Timeless Sash Windows to be a professional, hardworking practice with a good conservation ethos and attention to detail. We would not have any hesitation in recommending them.
