Ashford Castle Landmark Restoration Project

Timeless Sash Windows completed this large scale window restoration project at Ashford Castle, to restore the castle to it’s former glory and to allow it to operate as an upmarket hotel in Ireland.

This project required the refurbishment and repair of the existing timber windows, the removal of all rotten and defective timber, the stripping down of paint, re-painting the existing windows and leaving the windows in good working order.

Furthermore, we manufactured new hardwood timber windows to match existing profiles with only a 0.5mm tolerance.

As part of the conservation architecture guidelines, Timeless Sash Windows were also required to draw up a full report on each window stating the works required to each window.
