WHAT WE DO?
Timeless Sash Windows are a family run joinery business based in Meath. We are making Timeless Windows for over 40 years. For the last 25 years we have specialised in the manufacturing and refurbishment of Period Sash Windows.
We offer support and advice on the replacement and refurbishment of Sash Windows. Our vast experience gives us the capabilities to offer you the best solution for your windows. Our values and attention to detail make us the perfect partner to provide you with your Timeless Sash Window products.
Having served his time as an apprentice carpenter, Gerry Callaghan established a joinery business working with all aspects of timber joinery. Having negotiated with his father, he built a factory to make joinery products and Callaghan joinery was opened.
Gerry sought to develop the market of high quality sash windows and created an additional company to satisfy this emerging requirement. Callaghan Sash Windows opened on the same site as the joinery company and Gerry’s three sons have all joined the business having finished school.
Gerry’s son Barry took on the role of Managing Director and helped the business to flourish.
Callaghan Sash Windows undertook their largest and most complex project to date with the restoration and replacement of 220 windows at Killeen castle.
Callaghan Sash Windows expanded into the greater London Market due to the increased demand for bespoke products.
We are delighted and proud to have rebranded to Timeless Sash Windows. We made this decision due to the increased demand for our products throughout Ireland and the UK over the last number of years and feel this will help us grow further.

Founder of Company
I founded the business back in the 1970's I have seen many changes in the industry over the years. Most of these changes have been positive and we have always tried to embrace these positive changes. The fundamentals are still the same however, “delivering the best possible window to a satisfied client” still rings true. Quality has always been critical and I have advised the next generation that it takes a long time to earn a good reputation but without constant vigilance that can be eroded quite easily. These days I take a more passive role in the business but one area I still like to keep involved in is, quality control. I monitor these procedures on a daily basis. Away from the business, I enjoy a good GAA match or a day at the races.
I started working in the business in the mid 1990's starting on the factory floor, learning all the processes from the bottom up. Taking over the reins from my father in the late 1990's brought many different challenges. Great changes have taken place in that time and I am proud to keep Timeless Sash Windows at the forefront of these new developments. As a family business, family is extremely important to me. In one way it is great to be able to work together with family to make both family relationships and the business stronger. Away from the business there is no more enjoyable or rewarding time than spending time with my wife and three children. Having been involved with the GAA since I was 8 years old, I still enjoy being involved even though my playing days are well behind. Over the last number of years I have been involved with Meath underage football. This has been very enjoyable working with young men really pushing themselves to be the best that they can be. A lesson for us all!
I graduated from Dundalk IT in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting & Finance. (BAAF) From there I pursued my accountancy qualification and became a member of ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) in 2005.
I am the financial controller for Callaghan’s’ for over ten years now.
In my spare time, I juggle a busy family life with the GAA. I enjoy playing camogie and football and have served on many committees over the years, treasurer for Meath ladies County board for 4 years, treasurer & chairperson of my local football club and I am currently treasurer of my local camogie club.
